Colon cancer is one of the most common types of cancer worldwide, and early detection plays a crucial role in successful treatment. Unfortunately, many people ignore the warning signs until the disease has progressed to an advanced stage. Recognizing the early symptoms can save your life. Here are eight warning signs of colon cancer you should never ignore.

1. Persistent Changes in Bowel Habits
If you notice ongoing changes in your bowel movements, such as diarrhea, constipation, or an alteration in stool consistency lasting more than a few weeks, it may indicate colon cancer. Occasional irregularities are normal, but persistent changes warrant medical attention.
2. Blood in the Stool
One of the most alarming signs of colon cancer is the presence of blood in your stool. It may appear as bright red streaks or dark, tarry stools, indicating bleeding in the digestive tract. While hemorrhoids can also cause rectal bleeding, it’s crucial to rule out more serious conditions like colon cancer.
3. Unexplained Weight Loss
Losing weight without making changes to your diet or exercise routine is a red flag for various health concerns, including colon cancer. Cancer cells consume energy and can alter metabolism, leading to unexplained weight loss.
4. Abdominal Pain and Cramping
Persistent abdominal discomfort, including pain, bloating, or cramping, could be a sign of colon cancer. If these symptoms occur frequently and without a clear cause, consult a healthcare professional.
5. Feeling of Incomplete Bowel Movements
If you constantly feel like you need to empty your bowels but cannot, it may be a sign of a blockage caused by a tumor in the colon. This sensation, known as tenesmus, should not be ignored.
6. Fatigue and Weakness
Chronic fatigue and weakness can result from anemia caused by internal bleeding from colon cancer. If you feel tired even after getting enough rest, you should consider getting a medical evaluation.
7. Iron-Deficiency Anemia
Colon cancer can lead to slow, undetected blood loss over time, resulting in iron-deficiency anemia. Symptoms of anemia include pale skin, dizziness, shortness of breath, and frequent headaches. If you have anemia without an obvious cause, ask your doctor about colon cancer screening.
8. Narrow or Thin Stools
A noticeable change in stool shape, such as narrow or pencil-thin stools, could indicate an obstruction in the colon. While dietary factors can sometimes cause this, persistent stool shape changes should be evaluated by a medical professional.
When to See a Doctor
If you experience any of these symptoms persistently, don’t ignore them. Early detection of colon cancer increases the chances of successful treatment. Schedule a check-up with your healthcare provider, especially if you are over 50 or have a family history of colon cancer.
Final Thoughts
Colon cancer is preventable and treatable if detected early. Maintaining a healthy diet, exercising regularly, and undergoing routine screenings can help reduce your risk. If you notice any of these warning signs, seek medical advice promptly. Your health is worth it!
Toyota imported cars increase in price
March 19, 2025 10:33
Imported Toyota cars such as Innova Cross, Alphard, Land Cruiser have increased in price from tens to hundreds of millions of dong despite keeping almost the same design and amenities.

In early 2025, Toyota Vietnam increased the prices of two models Innova Cross and Alphard. In March, the Land Cruiser model also had new prices. In April, the Japanese joint venture plans to increase the price of Raize, a CUV model competing in the A+ segment.
Among these models, Innova Cross and Raize are imported from Indonesia, while Land Cruiser and Alphard are imported from Japan.

Except for the Land Cruiser, which has increased in price and comes with some upgrades in exterior and interior equipment, the remaining models such as Innova Cross, Alphard, and Raize all retain the same design and amenities. Toyota did not specify the reason for the price increase.
In addition to increasing the prices of many car models, in the first 3 months of 2025, Toyota also actively reduced prices by promoting registration fees for models such as Vios, Yaris Cross, Veloz, Avanza. Among these, Yaris Cross imported from Indonesia is similar to Innova Cross and is one of the main sales products of the Japanese joint venture in Vietnam.
After the first two months of 2025, Toyota sold 6,460 cars, ranking second in the market after VinFast, which sold 22,500 cars. If only considering the internal combustion engine segment, Toyota is still the best-selling brand in Vietnam, followed by Hyundai with sales of 4,623 cars.TB (summary)
